Understanding the Activity Log on a Transaction

How to read the Activity log on any transaction in WIZniche POS to see a full history of actions taken.

Every transaction in WIZniche POS has its own Activity log — a running history of every action taken on that specific transaction, from creation through to refunds and receipt sends.

How to View the Activity Log

  1. Click Transactions in the left sidebar.

  2. Click on the transaction you want to review.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the Transaction Detail panel to find the Activity section.

What Appears in the Activity Log

Common entries include:

  • Receipt Sent — Confirms a receipt email was sent, including the recipient's email address.

  • Refund Submitted — Confirms a refund was issued, including the amount and settlement status.

  • Other transaction-specific events depending on the actions taken.

Each entry shows a timestamp, a brief description, the date, and the team member who performed the action.

Refreshing the Log

Click the refresh icon (↻) next to the Activity heading to pull in the latest updates — useful if you're waiting on a status change, such as a refund moving past Pending Settlement.

Why the Activity Log Matters

It provides a clear, timestamped audit trail for every transaction — essential for resolving disputes, training your team, and maintaining accountability across your business.
