Every refund in WIZniche POS creates an entry in the Activity log — giving you a clear audit trail of who issued the refund, when, and for how much.
How to View the Activity Log
Click Transactions in the left sidebar.
Click on a transaction to open its Transaction Detail panel.
Scroll to the Activity section at the bottom.
What Gets Recorded
When a refund is processed, the Activity log records:
Action type — e.g. "Refund Submitted"
Description — e.g. "Refund of $100.00 submitted — pending settlement."
Timestamp — The exact time the refund was submitted (e.g. 12:11 AM)
Date — e.g. June 25, 2026
User — The team member who issued the refund (e.g. Travis Siegfried)
Refreshing the Activity Log
Click the refresh icon next to the Activity heading to load any new activity that may have occurred since you opened the panel — useful if a status update (like settlement completion) has just come through.
Why This Matters
The Activity log gives you accountability and traceability for every refund — important for resolving customer disputes, auditing team actions, and confirming exactly what happened and when.
