Security Settings — Sign In & Account Protection

How to manage your personal sign in security in WIZniche POS — email, phone, password, two-step verification, and signing out everywhere.

The Sign in tab under Security settings manages the credentials and verification methods for your personal WIZniche POS account. You can update your email, phone, and password, enable two-step verification, and sign out of all active sessions.

How to Access

  1. Click Settings at the bottom of the left sidebar.

  2. Under the Business section, click Security.

  3. Make sure the Sign in tab is selected at the top of the page.

Breadcrumb: Home › Settings › Security

Email

Your registered email address is shown with a Verified green badge when confirmed. Click Update to change your email address. You'll be required to verify the new address before it becomes active on your account.

Phone

Your registered phone number is displayed in a masked format for security. If it shows a Verification needed warning, click Verify to complete phone verification — this is important for account recovery and two-step verification. Click Update to change your number.

Password

Your password's last changed date is displayed here. Click Update to set a new password. You'll be prompted to enter your current password first before creating a new one.

Two-Step Verification

Two-step verification adds an extra layer of security to your account. When enabled, a verification code is required in addition to your password each time you sign in.

  1. Click Enable to activate two-step verification.

  2. Follow the on-screen steps to link your phone or verification method.

  3. Once enabled, the button will update to allow you to manage or disable it.

We strongly recommend enabling two-step verification, particularly for Admin accounts.

Sign Out Everywhere

If you've lost a device or left yourself logged in on a public or shared computer, use Sign out everywhere to immediately end all active sessions — except your current browser.

Click the red Sign out everywhere link to trigger this. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.

Ways to Verify It's You

WIZniche uses this section to contact you if there's unusual activity on your account, help you recover access, and send transactional messages. You can manage:

  • Recovery email — A secondary email used for account recovery, shown with its verification date.

  • Add phone number — Add a phone number as an additional recovery method.
