WIZniche POS supports Canadian address formats on customer profiles — including province codes and postal codes in the correct Canadian format. If you serve Canadian customers or operate in Canada, here's how addressing works.
How to Set Up a Canadian Customer Address
Open the customer profile (or create a new customer).
In the address section, click the Country dropdown.
Select Canada.
The form will update to show a Province dropdown and accept a Canadian postal code format.
Fill in the remaining address fields.
Click Save.
Canadian Address Fields
When creating or editing a customer with a Canadian address:
Street Address — Standard street address.
Apt/Suite — Unit or suite number if applicable.
City — City name.
Province — Select the Canadian province or territory from the dropdown (e.g. ON for Ontario, BC for British Columbia, QC for Quebec).
Postal Code — Canadian postal code format: A1A 1A1 (alternating letter-number-letter space number-letter-number). WIZniche POS accepts the standard Canadian format.
Country — Select Canada from the country dropdown. This switches the State field to Province and adjusts address formatting accordingly.
How Canadian Addresses Appear on Invoices
The customer's full Canadian address — including province and postal code — will appear on invoices and receipts sent to them, formatted appropriately for Canadian correspondence.
