Creating a Location Profile

A full walkthrough of the Location Profile page in WIZniche POS — covering all 6 tabs: Location Details, Hours/Timezone, Bank Info, Items, Terminals, and Transactions.

The Location Profile is the central management page for a single location. It gives you a complete view of everything connected to that location — its details, business hours, linked bank account, items, terminals, and transaction history — all organised across dedicated tabs.


How to Access

  1. Click Locations in the left sidebar.

  2. Click on any location row to open its profile.

The breadcrumb will show: Home → Locations → Location Profile.


The Location Header

At the top of the Location Profile you'll find a summary card showing:

  • The location logo and name

  • The location's nickname and full address

  • Key stats: Timezone, Items count, Terminals count, and linked Bank account (last 4 digits)

  • A Google Map preview of the location's address on the right


Tab 1: Location Details

The default tab when you open a location. It contains two side-by-side sections:

Basic Information (left)

  • Business Name — The display name for this location.

  • Nickname — Appears on customer bank statements when charged from this location.

  • Business Description — An internal description (e.g. "Headquarters").

Location Address (right)

  • Location Type — Either Physical (a customer-facing premises) or Remote (no physical customer-facing location).

  • Country

  • Address and Unit

  • City, State, Zip

  • Preferred Language — Sets the language for customer-facing documents from this location.

Contact Information (left, below basic info)

  • Email, Phone, Website

Make your changes and click Save to apply them.


Tab 2: Hours/Timezone

Manage the operating schedule for this location:

  • Time Zone — Select the timezone for this location (e.g. UTC -05:00 CDT — Central Daylight Time).

  • Regular Hours — Tick the checkbox next to each open day and set Open and Close times. Days left unchecked are marked as Closed.

Business hours are used to control scheduling limits for the Reservations feature.


Tab 3: Bank Info

View and manage the bank account linked to this location for payouts:

  • If no bank account is linked, you'll see the message "No bank accounts linked yet" with a Link a new bank button.

  • Once linked, the bank account details (account type and last 4 digits) will appear here.

Each location can have its own bank account, allowing payouts for different sites to be deposited separately.


Tab 4: Items

View and manage the items available at this location:

  • Search items, filter by Category or Status (Active/Inactive).

  • The table shows: Item, Reporting Category, Stock, Price, Unit Cost, Default Vendor.

  • Click Create Item to add a new item directly to this location.

  • Use the Actions dropdown for bulk operations:

    • Import Library — Import items via CSV or XLSX.

    • Export Library — Export all items for this location.

    • Generate SKUs — Auto-generate SKU codes for items.

    • Expand All Items — Expand all item rows to show variations.


Tab 5: Terminals

View and manage the card terminals assigned to this location:

  • The table shows: Terminal Name, Model, Serial Number, Location, and Status.

  • Terminal statuses include Online (green dot — active and connected) and Boarded (grey dot — registered but not currently active).

  • Click Create Terminal to add a new terminal to this location.

  • Use the Search terminals bar to find a specific device.


Tab 6: Transactions

View all transactions that have been processed at this location:

  • Search transactions and filter by date range and Transaction Type.

  • The table shows: Transaction ID, Customer, Order Source (Invoice, Virtual POS, Payment Link), Payment Status, Amount, Transaction Type, and Date.

  • Each row has a Refund button for issuing refunds directly from the transaction log.

  • Click Export to download the transaction list.
