Viewing Location Transactions

How to view, search, filter, refund, and export transactions for a specific location in WIZniche POS.

The Transactions tab inside a Location Profile gives you a complete, filterable record of every payment processed at that specific location — including the source of each transaction, its status, and the ability to issue refunds directly from the log.

How to Access

  1. Click Locations in the left sidebar.

  2. Click on the location you want to view transactions for.

  3. On the Location Profile page, click the Transactions tab.

The tab label shows the total number of transactions for that location (e.g. Transactions — 17 Transactions).

The Transactions Table

Each row represents a single payment transaction and shows the following columns:

  • Transaction ID — A unique reference number for the transaction (e.g. TX-9642).

  • Customer — The name of the customer associated with the transaction.

  • Order Source — Where the transaction originated. This is a clickable link showing the source record, which can be:

    • Invoice #XXXXXX — Payment made against an invoice.

    • Virtual POS #XXXXXX — Payment taken through the Virtual Terminal.

    • Payment Link #XXXXXX — Payment made via a payment link sent to the customer.

  • Payment Status — The current status of the payment (e.g. Paid with a green dot).

  • Amount — The total dollar value of the transaction.

  • Transaction Type — The type of financial action (e.g. Payment, Refund).

  • Date — The date and time the transaction was processed.

Searching & Filtering

Use the tools at the top of the Transactions tab to narrow down what you see:

  • Search Transactions — Search by customer name, transaction ID, or order source.

  • Date Range — Click the calendar filter to set a custom start and end date. Defaults to the last 30 days.

  • Transaction Type — Filter by type (All Types, Payment, Refund, etc.) to focus on specific kinds of activity.

Issuing a Refund from the Transaction Log

You can refund a transaction directly from this tab without navigating elsewhere:

  1. Find the transaction you want to refund.

  2. Click the Refund button on the right side of the row.

  3. Follow the refund confirmation steps.

The refunded transaction will update its status accordingly and appear in the transaction log.

Exporting Transactions

To download the transaction list for this location:

  1. Apply any filters you want (date range, transaction type) to scope your export.

  2. Click the blue Export button in the top-right corner.

  3. The data will download as a file you can open in Excel or another spreadsheet tool.

Tip: Clicking the Order Source

Each transaction's Order Source is a clickable link. Clicking it opens the the sidebar directly to the originating Invoice, Virtual POS order, or Payment Link record — making it easy to trace a payment back to its source without searching manually.
