Setting Up Your First Location

How to create a new location in WIZniche POS — covering basic info, address, contact details, and business hours.

Your first location is created automatically during account registration using the business details you provide at sign-up. However, you can also create new locations manually at any time from the Locations section of WIZniche POS.

Each additional location is billed at $89/month — you'll see a reminder of this at the top of the Create Location form.


How to Access

  1. Click Locations in the left sidebar navigation.

  2. Click the blue Create Location button in the top-right corner of the Locations list.

  3. You'll be taken to the Create Location form (breadcrumb: Home → Locations → Create Location).


How to create a new location in WIZniche POS?

Step 1: Basic Information

Fill in the core details for this location:

  • Location Business Name — The business name for this specific site.

  • Nickname — A short identifier for the location. This appears on your customer's bank statement when they are charged from this location, so make it clear and recognisable (e.g. "WIZ – Main St").

  • Settlement Delay — The number of days before payments settle to your bank. Defaults to 1.

  • Business Description — An optional description of this location (e.g. "Headquarters", "Warehouse", "Downtown Store").


Step 2: Business Address

Enter the address for this location:

  • Location Type — Select one of two types:

    • Physical — A brick-and-mortar location where customers visit in person.

    • Remote — A location without a physical customer-facing premises (e.g. mobile team, home office).

  • Country — Defaults to United States.

  • Street Address — Use the Search field to find your address, or type it manually.

  • Unit — Suite, floor, or unit number if applicable.

  • City

  • ZIP Code

  • State


Step 3: Contact Information

Add the contact details for this location:

  • Email — The contact email for this location.

  • Phone — The location's phone number.

  • Website — Optional website URL for this location.


Step 4: Business Hours

Set the operating hours for this location:

  1. Select your Time Zone from the dropdown.

  2. Under Regular Hours, tick the checkbox next to each day your location is open.

  3. Once a day is checked, Open and Close time fields will appear — set them for each active day.

  4. Leave days unchecked to mark them as Closed.

Business hours are used by the Reservations and Scheduling features to control when bookings can be made for this location.


Saving Your Location

Once all sections are complete, click the blue Save button in the bottom-right corner. Your new location will appear in the Locations list and can be selected from the Location Selector in the top navigation bar.

To discard without saving, click Cancel.
