WIZniche POS Virtual Terminal supports tipping at checkout. You can control whether tips are collected and configure the preset tip percentage options shown to your customers — all from Virtual Terminal Settings.
How to Access
Click Settings in the left sidebar.
Under the Payment section, click Virtual Terminal.
Scroll down to the Tipping and Tipping percentage amounts sections.
Enabling or Disabling Tips
Collect tips — Toggle ON — Customers are prompted to add a tip during the Virtual Terminal checkout flow.
Collect tips — Toggle OFF — The tipping step is removed entirely from the Virtual Terminal checkout.
Setting Tip Percentage Presets
When tipping is enabled, customers are shown up to three preset tip percentages as quick-select options. You configure these under Tipping percentage amounts:
Amount 1 — e.g. 10%
Amount 2 — e.g. 15%
Amount 3 — e.g. 25%
Enter the percentage values that best match your business. Customers will see these three options at checkout and can also enter a custom tip amount if they prefer.
Saving Your Changes
Click the blue Save button in the bottom-right corner after making any changes. Settings take effect immediately for all subsequent Virtual Terminal transactions.
