WIZniche POS is designed to be intuitive, but knowing where everything lives from day one saves time. This article walks you through the key areas of the platform and how to get around.
The Top Navigation Bar
The top bar runs across every screen and gives you quick access to key actions and context:
Hamburger Menu (☰) — Far left. Opens and collapses the left-hand sidebar navigation, Find Settings in the bottom of this menu.
Your Company Logo — Centre. Clicking this returns you to the Home dashboard from anywhere.
Location Selector — Top right, shown with a pin icon. Displays the currently active location. Click it to switch between locations if your account has more than one.
Cart Icon — Quick access to your hardware cart if you're ordering devices.
Your Name / Avatar — Far right. Click to access your account options and Sign Out.
The Quick Action Bar
Just below the top nav, you'll see four shortcut buttons:
Virtual POS — Launch the Virtual POS to complete a order from your browser.
Take Payment — Start a new, virtual terminal, payment link or invoice session.
Send Invoice — Create and send an invoice directly.
Add Item — Quickly add a new item to your Item Library.
These buttons are always visible at the top of the dashboard for fast access to the most common tasks.
The Left Sidebar Navigation
The left-hand menu is your main way to move between sections of the platform. Here's what each item does:
Home — Your main dashboard with key metrics, sales chart, orders and invoices overview.
Transactions — View all completed payment transactions.
Invoices — Create and manage invoices.
Orders — View and manage all POS orders.
Subscriptions — Manage recurring billing plans and subscriptions.
Locations — View and manage your business locations.
Customers — Access your customer directory and individual profiles.
Items — Your full Item Library — products, services, categories, modifiers, and inventory.
Reports — Sales, payments, inventory, team, and financial reports.
Team — Manage team members and their roles.
Reservation — Manage classes, events, and online bookings.
Settings — Configure all account settings including payments, taxes, devices, and integrations.
The Date Range Filter
On the dashboard, you'll notice a date range selector in the top right of the content area. Use this to filter your Key Metrics and Sales chart to a custom period — for example, the current month, last 30 days, or a custom range you define.
Navigating Back
WIZniche POS uses a breadcrumb-style flow — clicking into a record (an order, invoice, customer, etc.) opens a detail view or sidebar. To go back, use the back arrow or click the relevant section in the left sidebar to return to the list view.
