The Transactions CSV export captures exactly what's currently shown in your transaction list — so applying filters before you export lets you produce a focused, ready-to-use report instead of exporting your entire history and filtering it afterward in a spreadsheet.
Why Filter First
Produces a smaller, more relevant file
Saves time cleaning up data after the export
Makes it easy to generate the exact report you need — e.g. "all card payments in May" or "all refunds for a specific customer"
How to Narrow Before Exporting
Click Transactions in the left sidebar.
2. Set your Date Range to the period you need.
3. Use the Transaction Type dropdown to limit to Payments or Refunds only, if needed.
4. Open the Filter panel to narrow further by Payment Method, Status, or Source.
Confirm the transaction list reflects exactly what you want to export.
Click Export → Generate.
Example Use Cases
Monthly card reconciliation — Filter by Payment Method: Card, set date range to the month, then export.
Refund audit — Filter Transaction Type: Refund for a quarter, then export.
Single customer history — Search by customer name, then export their full transaction record.
